2020 Honda CR-V

The CR-V is one of Honda’s top-selling cars, and with good reason. It is well-designed, practical and refined. It comes equipped with the modern comfort and technology features that one would expect in a new SUV. Below is a brief breakdown of the CR-V and its many attributes.

There have not been any significant changes in the 2020 model compared to the 2019 in regards to the exterior. The front bumper and rear bumper have slightly been changed, but other than that, the overall outside look remains the same.

However, the chrome on the 2020 model is much lighter, the grille is less adorned and looks cleaner. It also boasts massive 18-inches wheels in a majority of its trims. However, the Touring trim comes with 19-inch wheels, which adds an extra level of style.

The CR-V can accommodate five adults comfortably while still providing adequate cargo space. The EX and higher models come with 12-way power adjustable front seats and offer a clean and unfettered view of the outside world.

The interior of the LX and EX trims are largely cloth, whereas EX-L and Touring trims feature leather material. A deep center console and spacious cupholders come standard in all trims. Rear passengers get legroom of over 40-inches, which is quite impressive. Moreover, there is a cargo space of 39.2 cubic feet and a lower load floor. If you fold the rear seats, the cargo space expands to 75.8 cubic feet.

The 2020 CR-V is powered by a 1.5-liter engine that generates 190 horsepower. The engine is accompanied by a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The lineup offers smooth steering, strong brakes, and a refined overall ride. Whether it is a long or short commute, the CR-V always provides a comfortable and smooth ride.

The LX models feature a five-inch color screen as a standard infotainment system. However, all the other trims come with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It is also compatible with SiriusXM satellite radio, Android Auto™, and Apple CarPlay®. The nine-speaker audio system and navigation display are optional features. The company has also reintroduced its rotary volume knob.

The 2020 Honda CR-V scored impressively on all its safety tests with excellent safety features. The company made sure that this top-tier safety system is standard on all its trims. Prominent safety features in the lineup include lane-keeping assist, automated emergency braking, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, and lane-departure warning. EX trims and higher models come with blind-spot monitors as well.

With the quality features and specifications offered, the Honda CR-V justifies being a top-selling car in the segment.
